The Soldier Community Fund.
A locally held fund with the Jackson County Community Foundation that has been created to "continue making Soldier, KS a great place to LIVE, WORK, PLAY and GROW."
Seeded in honor of the Community CORE Foundation and it's mission. Born out of conversations about safe and visible giving opportunities that could support local projects and structures in the community.
This fund is a way to support the Soldier Community through monetary donations and other assets of value. One hope is that this fund could be a seed fund to help other projects around the community take off. Partnering organizations could request help and assistance from this fund for projects that benefit the community of Soldier and continuing to make it a great place to LIVE, WORK, PLAY and GROW.

Progress Updates:
Sunday, November 12th 2024 was the Thoughtful Giving day this past year. It was a great opportunity for us to have a portion of our donations to the fund be matched by other generous donors to the overall Local Giving Day. We were able to raise nearly $11,000 to be used in the Community Fund Endeavors. Some of these funds and previous funds in savings are being used to move forward on the Gym Windows!!!
Thoughtful Giving Day in the News...
